The Jackson Lady Flyers Program Was Developed To Provide A Positive Soccer Experience In A Competitive Environment At An Affordable Price.
A Dream Come True
What is the dream of every club soccer team? To win a State Championship. That dream came true for JAWS very own U16 Lady Flyers on May 12, 2007, at the TSSA Division 3 State Finals held at Camp Jordan Park in Chattanooga. Head Coach Isaac Brooks, along with TSSA’s Mark Able, presented the ecstatic girls with their Championship medals in an awards ceremony at the completion of the final game Saturday evening. There were tears, yells, lots of pictures, and even cartwheels at the end of the awards ceremony. As the fog rolled in, all you saw were the smiles on everyone’s faces.
The team had its most successful season yet placing third or better at every tournament attended, finishing the season off by meeting the Knoxville Soccer Club Lady Diamonds and the Lebanon Soccer Club ’91 Girls in the Championship games. During the first game, the Lady Diamonds managed to score first, but mid-fielder Allison Turner answered with a shot over the goalie’s head from about 40 yards out. The Lady Flyers had numerous shots on goal for the remainder of the game, but were not able to score again, ending up with a 1-1 tie. The second game against the Lebanon girls was totally dominated by the Lady Flyers. Forwards Sara Johnson and Maddie Doumitt both found the back of the net to lead their team to a 2-0 shutout. The Lebanon girls rallied to defeat the Lady Diamonds 1-0 in the final game, taking second place and putting the Lady Flyers solidly in First.

U-12 Lady Flyers .....
2005 Girl's Recreational Team Moves Up To Division III In 2006
On the weekend of May 13-14, the Jackson Area Wide Soccer (JAWS) club's Under 12 year old girls traveling soccer team, the '94 Lady Flyers, placed 3rd in the Tennessee Soccer Division 3 State Championships held in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Competing for the State Championship were 18 teams from all parts of the State. After losing their first game 4-3, to the Fairview Lady Blaze, a team they had previously beaten in a tournament the Lady Flyers won in Franklin, Tennessee in April, the Lady Flyers won their next game 3-2 and was seeded 7th to move into the Quarterfinals on the second day of the State Championship Tournament. The Lady Flyers played strong defense to beat the Lady Rapids, 1-0, a team from Smyrna, Tennessee that is coached by Rick Parlow, brother of famed women's soccer player Cindy Parlow, a member of the Gold Medal winning U.S. Women's National Team at the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. The win catapulted the Lady Flyers into the Semi Finals against the Lady Hammers from Maryville, Tennessee. The Lady Hammers scored early in the game to go up 1-0, and the Lady Flyers held that score until late in the second half when Hope Marshall scored to tie it with 2 minutes remaining. The Lady Hammers rallied and scored the winning goal with just under a minute to go, to end the Lady Flyers bid for a State Championship. The Lady Hammers were the eventual State Champions. The JAWS '94 Lady Flyers are coached by Paul Marshall and Corey Persons. Marshall formed the team this past December. The '94 Lady Flyers team members include Michaela Conners, Amber Elmore, Morgan Galbraith, Bonna Hardee, Hope Marshall, Annabeth Rose, Jordan Rowland, Brittany Sena, Kelsey Sikes, Lidia Smith and Katelyn Walls. The 94 Lady Flyers ended their first season with two tournament championships in Tupelo, Mississippi and Franklin, Tennessee, and a final record of 13-8-1.
